LEE SILVERMAN VICE TREATMENT (LSVT BIG)

LSVT treatment should begin immediately following a diagnosis for Parkinson’s disease. The focus of LSVT BIG treatment is to increase amplitude of limbs and overall body movement. Our therapists will address overall slowness and shuffling gait as well as work on verbal, visual and tactile cues during the course of treatment.

At Halcyon Rehabilitation, our highly trained team of therapists are certified to administer the complex, 16-session program over the course of one month. Each session is 60 minutes long, 4 times a week. This intensive program was developed to improve the overall quality of life for patients suffering from Parkinson’s disease.
